this day changed my life.
my best friends dad was killed in the pentagon
countless military families around me lost loved ones
my dad was deployed to Iraq
the base I lived on was shut down
my sweet little sister drew morbid cartoons of osama
my mom cried in front of the tv for days
rest in peace to all the innocent lives lost both at home and abroad
thank you to all the people who sacrificed their lives for mine
thank you dad for serving our country to give us this amazing life (& free college!!)
never ever forget

If you’re a teen you must follow this blog.
Sometimes you meet someone, and it’s so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers, or as friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you understand one another or you’re in love or you’re partners in crime. You meet these people throughout your life, out of nowhere, under the strangest circumstances, and they help you feel alive. I don’t know if that makes me believe in coincidence, or fate, or sheer blind luck, but it definitely makes me believe in something.
